Who we serve › High-traffic public spaces

The building never empties. The counters do.

A five-thirty departure with nothing open. An arrival at eleven at night after everything has closed. Staff on rotations that do not line up with anyone else’s lunch hour. And everyone who walks past is a stranger, which changes what you can safely put out.

A day in the terminal

1pm · Midday

The shaded band is staffed concessions, roughly 5am to 9pm. Everything on either side of it is unattended.

1pm: the concessions are open, and the units take what the queues do not.

Open to everyone, at the hours nothing else is.

A public building does not get to pick who walks past the unit, and it does not get to close. Both of those are design questions before they are service questions: what goes in, how it locks, and who restocks it before the building fills.

Before the building fills

Restocked on the building’s hours, not ours.

Cases are picked and staged by building before a driver leaves, so a room that empties overnight is filled before the morning and not after it. A public building is at its worst when it is busy and empty at the same time.

Planned around a room anyone can walk into.

Built for strangers

Locked units, card at the door, and every purchase tied to a card. No cash on site, so there is nothing in the room that rewards walking off with it.

Camera coverage on the units

The units carry their own cameras, and a purchase that goes wrong has a card behind it and a record of what happened.

Food that holds all day

Sandwiches, fresh food and cold drinks held at temperature, planned for the traffic and the hours the room has to cover.

A local contact

A named person in Northwest Arkansas when something needs attention, at the hours the building actually keeps.

Start with a walk-through.

Fifteen minutes on site. We look at the concourse, the hours and the traffic, and tell you what would actually work in the building.
